Grab Career Talk 2023 was an industry-focused offline event designed to equip university students with real-world insights, career direction, and direct connections to professionals in the tech and transport sector. Hosted in collaboration with Grab, the event brought together students, guest speakers, and industry representatives for an engaging half-day of learning and networking.
My Roles
- As Senior Account Executive, I managed key relationships and operational tasks critical to the event’s success, my roles including:
- University Relations: Reached out and coordinated with multiple universities to secure venues and attract student participants.
- Delegate Management: Oversaw delegate communications and registration, ensuring a smooth experience from sign-up to attendance.
- Speaker Coordination: Managed logistics and communications with guest speakers from Grab, ensuring clear expectations and seamless integration into the agenda.
- Partnership Liaison: Handled outreach and follow-ups with potential partners to support and enhance event credibility and reach.
Key Outcomes
- Successfully hosted the event at Tôn Đức Thắng University with high delegate turnout.
- Managed end-to-end delegate registration and delivered a clear communication flow to all attendees.
- Ensured timely arrival, preparation, and support for Grab guest speakers.
- Helped build strong university and partner relationships that laid the foundation for future events.
- Boosted visibility and relevance of Grab’s employer branding among Gen Z students in Ho Chi Minh City.
